In the Story mode, the starting location is always the same and the player is restricted in what regions they can visit.

In Interloper, the player will not spawn in Mountain Town, Mystery Lake, or Coastal Highway, and the number of possible spawn locations within each possible region is limited. If the Interloper experience is selected, then the starting region will be randomly chosen from more challenging maps. In most difficulty levels of Survival mode, the player may select any region as the starting point or may choose to start in a random region. A mountaineering rope may be deployed from the top of a cliff on the higher-elevation side to make both entrances accessible from either side. There are two connections to other regions, but the connection with The Ravine is initially inaccessible from the lower elevation area accessed by the connection with Forlorn Muskeg. Note: Bleak Inlet features a unique access configuration. You can have an overview of connections between regions on your right. Each of the regions connects to at least one other region, either directly or by a smaller transition zone. Sometimes we need this to get to other places faster or running from a bear.All regions are located on Great Bear Island in northern Canada. NOTE: did not like to 'always' fill or unli temperature/thirst/hunger since I liked playing it this way.

Suggested: 1 liter so you only need 1 gulp to fill your thirst from almost empty to full otherwise you will need to drink again for your fill. Some items that does not seem to degrade normally even when used (like the cooking pot) will not be affected and you will need to repair them. All worn clothes will also be 100% always. Using guns and tools like knife/sewing kit/hatchet will make their durability 100%.

  • MAX Durability on Most Items - the game will check & update the durability of items (in the world & in your inventory) and made it update to 100%.
  • Container Duplication of Stackable Items - will give +2 extra items when transfering to a container with at least 1 item of that type (these items from backpack to container must stack).
  • Suggested inventory for lighting/refueling fires: 1 stick, 1 of any wood type, 1 coal (specially for the forge), 1 tinder plug and 1 accelerant.
  • Fires - will not use up stackable fuel like wood/stick/coal or accelerant (except lantern oil/fuel) or tinder for starting and refueling fires.
  • Guns: Infinite Loaded Ammo - requires at least 1 ammo loaded in the gun, for rifle/revolver/distress pistol.
  • Tested mostly in Survival mode only as that is what I am playing at the moment. Just sharing my own table for TLD just to remove some of the grinding.
